If this were to be used as a central repository for all Noisebridge
images, it would be good to maintain redundant backups.

Could be nice if it were mirrored/synced to some cloud-like thing too.
Not sure how Picasa compares to Flickr, but if

...maybe the GoogleCL command line tools could provide some options:

I think Picasa may have file-size restrictions, but the full-res
versions could always live at http://gallery.noisebridge.net .
