[Noisebridge-discuss] ATTENTION EVERYBODY: GET A LIFE!

Colin,

I appreciate you stepping in with a moderate tone. But I need to
clarify a few things. Patrick is free to (and has) write emails to the
mailing list to explain himself and clarify the situation. But he
cannot physically come into the space or otherwise participate in the
community. I am certainly not censoring him from defending or
explaining himself over email at this time.

This discussion also takes place on the public mailing list because 1)
it's the easiest way to reach Noisebridge people who opt-in to the
list and 2) many people have complaints about a lack of transparency
in this situation. Many people who participate in Noisebridge (which
included Patrick) are not members, and a members-only list would
necessarily shut them out of any discussion. This is a tough balance
between openness and not airing dirty laundry, and Noisebridge tends
to lean towards openness.
