Plug computers in themselves aren't a security nightmare.  Leaving your company's nads dangling out on in the relative breeze of a wireless network, however, is.

I haven't played with the Sheevaplug specifically, but got a small herd of Dockstars (Sheevaplug descended hardware) here running stuff like openvpn, low-impact web stuff, etc...  They're very cute, and quite useful little buggers...
