[Noisebridge-discuss] new tag [DRAMA$] was (Is Patrick Keys stealing from the donation jug?)

Goddamn... I occasionally want to write something out on NB-discuss to a
drama/policy thread but I don't because it's retarded. Thus, I am absolving
my guilt by introducing the [DRAMA$] tag to the mailing list. The $ at the
end indicates that I paypaled $5 to noisebridge for this post contributing
to the noise. I encourage all of you to do the same. Think of it as a
virtual cuss jar.

Okay now that I've paid my five dollars, here is my input on the whole
situation: Rules just make life complicated. Once you have rules you have
to have rules of to the exceptions to the rules and then exceptions to those
exceptions and the whole thing just never really works out because someone
will come along in a totally different situation that was never planned for
and it's just not every flexible.

If we didn't have laws then we wouldn't have criminals. IMHO, radical
inclusivety is the end goal of not just our happy hackerspace but of the
whole world. Our diversity of opinion is our strength and our uniting
bonds.

Smoke a blunt, chill out. Love your sisters and your brothers. Remember
that sometimes people who come across as being very hard, or perhaps even
angry often have a lot of sadness in their life. Everyone can use some
tenderness now and then. And to quote civilization 5: There is no path to
peace, peace is the path.

Love,
Praveen
