Blackberrys have encrypted flash and can encrypt the SD card.

For Android, you can encrypt the SD card:

You could extend that to the OS partitons within the flash using an
initrd.  The tricky thing there is that you need a UI for password
entry on phones that lack a keyboard.  I could probably implement the
encrypted OS with a customized cyanogen build if someone would be
interested in collaborating on a UI.
