Sure, that's your POV, but there are many benefits to living in your
own apartment:

- you can wear whatever you want at home (or nothing)
- you can have nice things and not have them ruined.  Hello $150 chefs knife!
- Your internet is fast and not borked and always works.
- You can have as nice or not of things as you'd like without arguing
with people endlessly about STUFF.
- You can have a very comfortable bed and have more restful sleep
- You can be as warm or cold as you'd like without having to put on
more/less clothes/blankets/etc
- You can use your home as a place of work as well
- If you have a SO you can engage in any behaviour any time of day/night

Even a budding entrepreneur as yourself must realize the importance of
'down time' and proper restful sleep to promote a better work and
overall life.
