Instructions
Things You'll Need:
* Measuring tape
* Pencil
* 2 x 10 inch wood block
* Screws
* Piece of water-resistant drywall
* Drill
* Pipe wrench
* Level
1.
Measure 30 or 38 inches, depending on your preference, from the
floor
<http://www.ehow.com/how_2070310_install-wall-hung-sink.html#>.
Then mark the wall, locate the studs and cut out a 16 x 16 inch
piece of wallboard. Install a 2 x 10 inch block of wood between
the studs by toenailing screws into studs. Make sure block is
flush with the front edge of the studs.
2.
2
Repair the hole in the wall with a piece of water-resistant
drywall. Cut out for water supply lines and drain line. Place the
mounting plate on the wall, and mark holes with a drill.
3.
3
Install faucet, drain and pop-up assemblies on the sink. Following
manufacturer's recommendations, attach mounting plate to the wall
onto the block installed earlier. Check that plate is level before
fully securing.
4.
4
Set sink onto mounting bracket, and attach with anchor

bolts. Attach the trap to the drain stub from the wall, and attach
shut-off valves to water supply lines. If a trim piece is included
with the sink to hide the pipes, install it now.
5.
5
Open shut-off valves. Check for leaks. Tighten any fittings to
stop leaks, if you detect any. If legs for under the front of the
sink are included, install them per manufacturer instructions now.
