This sounds very interesting. I'll try to make it.

I have a couple of PPC Macs. Interested in donations?

I'll dig around my workshop - I may have some other embedded Linux 
platforms to donate, if there is interest.

I note the absence of openWRT and Shivaplugs as platforms. Perhaps you 
just haven't gotten to them yet. As todbot notes in his blog, openWRT is 
perhaps the least expensive way to add full wifi to Arduino.
