[Noisebridge-discuss] $500 donation - what would noisebridge do with it?

We have a cash account for tracking funds that never make it into a
bank account. Earmarked donations are definitely discouraged, but
money that is donated and spent immediately can still be tracked.

If the final "donation" is goods, in many cases, Noisebridge just
provides a receipt that has no monetary value but instead lists items,
and the donor is then responsible for putting a monetary value on it
using personal receipts.

In short, Patrick can have a tax receipt regardless of whether his
donation is monetary or goods.
