[Noisebridge-discuss] Laser Cutter

Lets meet. I can meet this Tuesday, or any Thursday, and I can meet any
other time with notice.

I know there is a "noisebridge needs a laser engraver" list that I may or
may not be on (I suspect not) so we should invite them as well because I am
sure they have invested brain power in to these problems already.

I know some of the arguments, but if there is a big enough community and
enough support, I am sure these problems will go away.

I want to say that, while Techshop is awesome, the laser engraver is the
most used tool there. I invite people to consider the savings they may have
if they invest in a laser engraver for noisebridge instead of getting a
membership to Techshop.

As far as burning the place down, it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. These things are
as enclosed as a microwave. They aren't as easy to use, and they are
compatible with a limited number of materials, but people would have to
REALLY FUCK UP to burn the place down with a laser engraver...like engraving
gasoline soaked balsa.

Just say'n. Frick'n lasers.
