Please don't bring CRT televisions or computer monitors to Noisebridge.
They are very power hungry, they contain leaded glass that requires
special disposal and costs Noisebridge money to get rid of, and they are
much heavier and easier to break than LCD monitors.

The exception is when a project has a need for a CRT, specifically,
because of its physical properties.  For example, the Scanning Electron
Microscope includes a custom CRT to implement its slow scan mode, and it
cannot easily be replaced by a LCD.
