Hi there,
I've a similar worry about how it is going to impact the atmosphere of the 
place.

However if the thefts are starting to be a serious problem, it has to be faced 
as such. However again I just wonder if this would not create more negative 
energy than occasional theft.

It sounds like a good idea, but I have a feeling being able to store locked away 
stuff in a public place can lead to some serious problems.
Also, there are hackers who seem to unlock anything locked just because it's 
locked..
