[Noisebridge-discuss] Theft at NoiseBridge

Layer 0 security is hugely important.
There should be a discussion around the protocol.
Mitch has some good suggestions.

I borrowed some text from some comment somewhere to help explain my point...

OSI's layer 1 is about connectors, cabling, pinouts, electrical signals, air
interfaces, and so on.

Layer 0 is about buildings, doors, locks, cages, surveillance cameras, that
kind of thing. It's also about an attitude that understands no amount of
sophisticated network, host, application, or data security will be effective
if your physical security is lacking.

So yeah, maybe it's a gimmick, but I've been referring to what I call layer
0, or "meatspace," security for some time now. It's an effective device for
getting people to think about it!
