[Noisebridge-discuss] Electricity usage at the space is up UP UP

Primary electrical power consumption almost always
involves heating devices, secondarily motors.
My guess is there is more cooking.
The laser cutting machine in the "dj booth" is a
new feature, and if it's much-used could account for
some increase in power.
Is there a new refrigerator or some recently
developed inefficiencies (e.g. a door is not closing
properly for some reason)?
Are the power tools in the dirty shop being used
more often?

It's possible to set up a meter to verify power
consumption of various branches (e.g., the branches to
the cooking equipment, laser cutter, dirty shop....
Purchasing a reasonable meter would probably cost
about $100. We'd install it on one branch and leave it
for a while, then move it to another branch....
Either someone buys it (or finds one somewhere)
or someone proposes this cost at a meeting for a
consensus (or not).
