    this should be a separate thread. 

    seems to me that we who care should pay attention 
to signage, both in the space and on the wiki. 
    in my view, some signs should be really big and 
prominent and always in the same place, obnoxiously 
apparent to first-time visitors. other signs should 
be big and prominent but moved around from time to 
time so that people coming in repeatedly won't get 
numb to them.
