Looking for a new Art Studio? Looking for a Metal shop?

The BoxShop has just what you need at price you can afford! Join us at
the Hunter's Point where the sun is shining and large-scale art is
happening. The BoxShop is a vibrant workspace that supports
professional artists in a wide range of mediums. There are over 120
artists working here will tons of skills they are all willing to
share.


We also have:

- a fully functioning metal shop where all your welding and metal
fabrication needs can be met

- a 5x10' CNC plasma cutter,

- a Forklift to help you carry your heavy stuff

- a wide variety of metal shaping equipment: brakes, rollers, english
wheel, where you can bend your metal like origami



It is also the current home of the Flaming Lotus Girls
(http://flaminglotus.com) and SWARM (http://orbswarm.com). The BoxShop
also hosts a variety of artist events throughout the year including
the Annual Power Tool Drag Races. This is an opportunity to get
involved in something wonderful.



We now have several large clean and lovely shipping containers that
are available just for you. Plus you get a very large work yard to
work on the extra extra large projects that just can not happen in
other art studio spaces. In addition, you will have access to a
4,000sqft indoor metal shop for an extra $25/mo. Rent is ranging
between $200 and $375 a month.
