[Noisebridge-discuss] NoiseTOR & Re: Treasurer's report

I just want to point out that when noisetor started I was being stickler-y
about the money stuff (ie doing things the right way) and everyone from
noisetor was all "you're a wet blanket, we totally intend to do our
homework". Now what I perceive to be the case is that the treasurer is
left untangling the financial records and nobody from noisetor is really
doing any reporting about it.

I totally support tor and us sponsoring it but for the love of god the
people who wanted to do the project, and assured us many times that they
would do their due diligence, should be at least reporting publicly on what
is going on with their finances. This was one of the obligations of
forming, no??

I am uncomfortable with a process in noisebridge where a sponsored project
doesn't fulfill their obligations and in doing so creates more work for the
treasurer, a hugely important and committed role prone to overwork and
burnout.
