[Noisebridge-discuss] Teaching a weekly HTML/CSS/JS class

Hi guys,

I'm interested in teaching a weekly HTML/CSS/JS - or "Frontend Web
Development" - or "Web Standards" - class. I just wanted to announce it
here to elicit possible displays of interest, or perhaps skepticism. :)

I want to teach this class because I love my job, basically, and I want
others to learn skills that can land them similar opportunities. I've never
taught a class before, but I expect that I'd be able to get into the flow
of things after a week or two of leading discussion.

I was thinking a usual class could cover complete basics (like writing a
basic HTML page, listing tricks of the trade, explaining the separation
between structure and presentation, explaining how basic HTTP works), then
perhaps focus on one aspect of web development per week, and the rest of
the time could be spent answering questions or helping people with their
individual projects/challenges.

About me: I've been making websites since 1994 and in a professional

I've read the Noisebridge Wiki page on hosting an event, and I plan on
coming to the next Tuesday meeting to talk about this, but is there
anything else I should know? The last time someone demonstrated interest in
this was back in February:
