I just bought an $80 retail dlink camera which has 802.11n built in. It is smaller and lighter than most phones. Power supply is 1.2A, I think 5v. Haven't actually measured how much it uses. 

It seems to have some reasonable config options. 

(sorry, can't have mine, it's a work device)
