rayc is about to write a long email about how there was some stuff on the 
projector and the soundsystem for a while.

some people asked that it cease for a while and it did.  There was a 
little bit of back and forth about whether it was okay to subject everyone 
in the room to media if they weren't into it, but it wasn't a big deal.
