Mitch, do you have any more info? I see a connection between Makerspaces
and DARPA (http://press.oreilly.com/pub/pr/2962) but I don't see DARPA
listed as a sponsor per se (http://makerfaire.com/sponsors/). Or any other
similar close association with the Maker Faire event. Maybe that's too much
hair splitting right there though. Where is that "Maker Faire / DARPA"
image of yours from?
