She also thinks considering I informed her that Noisebridge is indeed a
hackerspace, that dragging the police into any legal disputes related to
Noisebridge should be kept to a minimum considering many people come here
and perform illegal, but not necessarily unethical activities, and that
dragging the police into the situation has potential to jeopardize the
existence of what is an awesome space. She said any evidence that police
can get a hold of could incriminate the very existence of Noisebridge
itself.
The whole beauty of Noisebridge (and this is coming from a lawyer) is that
its internal affairs should be dealt with inside its own domain, and only
under the circumstances where an individual is threatening the lives of
others (John for instance) should authorities ever get themselves involved
with Noisebridge affairs.
