Definitely not, unless he's enabled "USB debugging" on his device, there is
no remote shell or other tool they could use.

Going even further, unless the device was rooted any command you could run
on the shell wouldn't work, since no tool you have access to has the
necessary permissions to change the password.

This is android not iOS.
