* posting for robert(mysql teacher tues' 16:30-18:00)...

*mysql(run in linux) class will resume in january and he will be running
along side a free database class starting @ stanford being offered on the
web. he will do and use certain aspects of her class along with his own so
everyone may benefit from a 2 for 1 class and receive two different
teaching methods...

*though her class requests some base skills in certain things, robert's
class will be considered a 'reboot' from the beginning and
beginners/n00bies are ALWAYS welcome...

*it is requested and excellent that you install mysql BEFORE coming to
class and add the SAKILA and WORLD databases to it(available on the mysql
site and fast to install)...

*should you need help installing(e.g. mac), there will be an install meetup
before class 'boots-up' announced later and it will be great if ALL that
need help come then...
