Hi
I've heard that the battery of the Dell laptop Inspiron 15-25 failed after a while: it stopped suddenly (whereas normally it diminishes step by step over the time) and when you put a non Dell battery, it doesn't work. But when you put a Dell battery, it works again. So I suspect that there is a chip somewhere that programs the limited battery lifespan, and when you put a Dell battery, something is resetting the program, so it works again. What do you think about it? Someone had this Dell Inspiron 15-25 already?

HP told to an IS manager that the Notebook HP2140 and HP2133 lifespan is estimated to 15-24 months:

Someone knows what in these devices is failing exactly after 15-24 months?
thanks guys.
