Oh, I tried to get the built-in wireless working yesterday by killing the
browser (Ctrl-Q, I think?) and using the resulting terminal from the
projector.

I gave up after discovering wireless-tools wasn't installed, and to do so
I'd need to plug it into the network anyway.  (Also, the projector-terminal
was really hard to read.)
