No, we shouldn't, that would he horrible.

We need some mechanism that means we aren't worried that letting somebody enter means we're stuck with them for "too long" (whatever that means). Instant judgements are going to suck.

What about some sort of "what kind of hacker are you?" questionnaire for visitors? Along with some "here's how to start <foo> hacking"? Would that encourage non-hackers who want to mooch resources to become hackers mooching resources? I think it'd be great if homeless visitors took up hacking of some kind and started adding to the community.
