Lovable and adorable dogs make cleanliness more difficult. Pet dander sticks to the floor and the furniture and floats in the air.
Letting non-service dogs hang around Noisebridge will make Noisebridge into a place I cannot visit, due to allergies. (Though the dogs keep leaving, their dander stays.) That's a fine decision - keep some people away from Noisebridge by allowing other pets. Just make it consciously.
