[Noisebridge-discuss] Turing - Please put your projects on your shelf

    I want to note that it seems like there are several 
different groups that come to Noisebridge, some that come 
for some interest or class, some that come at particular 
times of the day or night. 
    There's not much opportunity for people in these 
different groups to talk to each other, and so far the 
community discussion has acknowledged that (for instance, 
decisions cannot be made at the same meeting in which 
they're proposed because it takes time to propogate the 
ideas to people who are not, maybe cannot be, at any 
particular meeting. 

    As to shelves, conversations generally took place in 
the turing room during weekday afternoons among people 
who've been consistently enough there to start talking to 
each other). 
    I've been "tight" with the turing classroom since we 
moved in and don't recall any overcrowding there at 
anytime of day or evenings. 
   The shelf ideas included shelves along the walls that 
run north-south and in the northeast corner as a tall, 
narrow cabinet. We who've regularly used the space have 
noticed that that corner in particular is not easily used 
in the format of tables around the walls, and in a lecture 
format, not much is lost in the two corners of the walls 
against which a speaker is located. 
    How we improve any part of the space seems a do-ocratic 
function anyway, that's how the other areas in the space 
have developed (and reveloped). 

    I don't know which closet you're referring to: either 
the one that houses Susan the rack or the unfinished storage 
room in back of the sinks. The first, last I looked, seemed 
pretty full of stuff. The second seems unprotected by 
convention. Either works for me, given it fits and is not 
marauded.
