*Re: ZiP first issue submissions*

The deadline for submissions to ZiP
<http://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/zine>Issue One is tomorrow, Sunday
Jan. 15. I might possibly be able to extend
this for a day or two if you contact me to let me know you're submitting.

Email inquiries or submissions to anthonyletigre at gmail.com

(site-specific, non GmaiL secure address coming soon!)

I'm trying to get the finished issue ready to print so I can show the first
copies at 5MoF this Thursday.

*Re: Drama* */ Forum*

I continue to feel that histrionic outbursts and highly personalized
attacks of the "Barbara Walters-cum-Morton Downey Jr." variety are an
embarrassing distraction from the creative work that, for myself and many
others, is the main reason for subscribing to this list and hanging out at
NoiZBridge in the first place. I was frankly surprised when I first
encountered them on this list, assuming that most of the people here are
adults. Someone - Jake I think - disagreed, saying he needs to know "what's
going on." I would argue that my definition of "what's going on" is
different from Jake's.

As previously suggested, a forum seems like a great way to divide our
Discussions into their appropriate subjects. I know I'm not the only one
who feels this way. I have the capacity to set up a forum now on
ZZW<http://zine.noisebridge.net>,
the online portal for ZiP that I'm currently constructing. But Miloh and
others seem hesitant to take that step yet, so I guess things will probably
stay as is for the time being. (Insert frustration here.)

*ZiPChaiN*

In the meantime, I would like to invite others interested in discussing in
creative projects - as opposed to interpersonal conflicts - to sign up for
the new ZiP Mailing List.

(Incidentally....I discovered that if you capitalize the M on mailman, the
link doesn't work. I didn't know URLs were case sensitive?)
