Hello Noisbridgers,

Here is the information for our February meetings that you may be
interested in. Hope to see you there :)

Make:SF Feb 14th @ The Tech Shop

*****************************************************************

We begin with maker demos. We want to see the cool stuff you all are
doing! So email us if you have something you want to show off.

Then we continue our Arduino projects with the Arduino Temperature Clock.
This time the focus will be on programming. We will be taking in data from
a temperature sensor and then feeding that data into Processing and
displaying it as a clock. In case you do not know what Processing is, it is
the equivalent of Arduino but for a computer.

This is a great project for those of you who have bought an Arduino but
have not quite known what to do with it. We will go through the steps for
programming the Arduino, explain code syntax, and how to communicate with
Processing. The workshop will be $10.

For this project you will need to:

) Download Arduino and Processing and install both programs on your
computer.

) Bring your computer

) Bring your own Uno, Duemilanove, or Mega Arduino. (we will have a few
extra for those who need it).

) Bring an A/B (flat to sqaure) USB cable (again we will have a few extra)
