The streets of San Francisco have been populated with new artworks that you
can see with your cell phone. Out of the box is a mobile Augmented Reality
exhibition open during January 2012 featuring a selection of virtual
reality artworks spanning 1997-2011. Released from the confines of their
virtual reality installations, elements from these VR works have been
re-contextualized and can now be viewed as three dimensional art object
integrated within the physical landscape of San Francisco.
