True. And I never meant people shouldn't be able to discuss social
intrigues, gossip, slag each other all day long if they want - freedom of
speech is just that, and "drama" is an inevitable part of human existence -
I even understand its appeal. But the extremely personal nature of some of
the messages being posted (to how many hundreds or thousands of people?)
was stunning to me, and I kept talking to people at NB who told me they
didn't subscribe to the Discuss list - or at any rate didn't read the
messages - due to the, shall we shay, *soap operatic* tone that often
ensues. So I suggested splitting the list into different sections so that
myself and others of like mind can separate the wheat from the chaff. Which
led to the idea of a forum. Which led to me discovering a forum had already
been suggested many times in the past. Which led to me seeing just now
(thanks to Wladislaw) that there *is *in fact a forum - that nobody uses.

Let's start using it!
