Me, Jessy Z and Mischief put this visualization of 5 years of
noisebridge discuss together last night for your enjoyment -

thread responses come off as chains, so longer or more controversial
thread items have alot of leaf nodes and make bigger trees, when
someone adds something that is "[Drama]", adding it flashes as red,
creating a thread is green and adding to an existing thread is orange.
Activity is bloom

All you need is the gource package ( https://code.google.com/p/gource/
) which should be available through yum, apt-get & brew or your
package manager of choice, untar, cd and then just run
./visualize_noisebridge.sh to experience the excitement and fun that
is noisebridge discuss.
