Ladies and gentlemen, we've got two really cool things coming up next
Thursday night over at the MADE:

First, at 6:30, we'll be hosting Indie Dev Show and Tell, an event where
local video game programmers come in to show off the games they're working
on. Feel free to come by and see what others are working on or bring your
own stuff to the table and there shall be awesomeness therein.

Then, there's the main event:

On Thursday, June 14th, no less than FIVE (cinco) of the best geek-oriented
comics in the Bay area will come together for one amazing night of stand up
comedy. These five, their brains packed with video games, manga, anime,
science fiction, bad horror movies, technology, pop culture, the sheer
horror of dating and anything else that happens to be bouncing around in
their frontal lobes, will bring you 90 minutes of funny as if their lives
depended on it.

The Lineup:
- Mike Drucker: A geek at heart, Mike combines high energy,
self-deprecation and video games with everything else in his life to become
a Bay area favorite. Senor Drucker has written for Saturday Night Live, The
Onion newspaper, The Onion News Network on Comedy Central, Late Night With
Jimmy Fallon, McSweeney’s, Nintendo, College Humor, The ESPY Awards, and
the PBS Mark Twain Awards.

- Ivan Hernandez: One of the seminal nerd comics in the Bay area, Mike's
favorite topics include food, comic books and women (or any intersection of
the three) within his act. He's played venues such as the Florida Improvs
and the Purple Onion, has been part of the Nerd Comics Tour and is freaking
amazing.

- Leslie Small: The girl who shall not be underestimated, Leslie combines
amazing energy, pop culture, the terrors of dating and the horrors of
technology to make for a great performer (and recent headliner at the
Purple Onion).

- Chris Barylick: A recent transplant to the Bay area from Washington, D.C.
and founder of the Geek Comedy Tour, Chris combines high energy, video
games, technology, the horrors of dating and is afraid of popsicles.

- Erikka Innes: The founder of the amazing "Geek Comedy Night" for the Bay
area, Erikka proves that the ladies can be nerdy and awesome, no matter
what.

When: Thursday, June 14th, 8 PM.

Where: The MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment), 610 16th St.
Suite 230
Oakland, CA 94612

Dial "#0230" on the box to get in.

Price: Suggested $10.00 donation to the MADE and tip the comics if you feel
like it...they need any form of love and/or positive feedback if it's
available.

BYOB: Go for it, but please be 21 or over if you're going to drink.

Why: Because these are some of the best nerd comics in the area, their
brains are swimming with geekdom and comedy tends to rock.

June 14th...BE THERE!!!
