Hey Noisebridge,
Thought some of you might be interested in coming to Workshop
Weekend<http://whatwillyoulearn.com>this weekend, March 17-18, in
downtown Oakland.
Workshop Weekend is a way to get a taste of Maker and Crafter activities in
a more in-depth and intensive format than you might get at Maker Faire.
Choose from 25 workshops, all 1-3 hours long. Workshop topics include
Arduino-making and programming, making bath salts, sewing with electronics,
robotics, knitting, lock-picking, EL wire, aquaponics, and millefiori
jewelry making.
Mitch and Rolf are also running Arduino and soldering workshops, in the
spirit of Circuit Hacking Mondays.
Admission is $30/person for as many workshops as you want, and you pay
extra only for materials. Get 10% off with the discount code NOISEBRIDGE.
Finally, we're also looking for volunteers -- help out for a few hours and
we'll waive your admission for the full weekend.
Register online at http://whatwillyoulearn.com
Hope to see you there!
J.D.
