Don't turn the projector _off_ by just yanking the power.

The projector needs a 4-5 minute cool-down time when the lamp is on.
If you yank the power, the lamp has a good chance of cracking or
simply blowing out.  The halogen bulb in there is at ~200psi, and gets
ridiculously hot while running.    Those bulbs cost ~$200, so it's a
non-trivial expense to replace it.
