    NB history includes discussions of photos and 
vid cams with a lot of objection and protection of 
anonymity. 
    NB space is a public space, but the people are 
a community with history, conventions, standards: 
generally it's polite to request permission to take 
photos and a release is required if photos are 
published. Does release on some internet accessible 
web site constitute publishing? 
    Personally, I don't want anyone to take my 
photo for any reason. Please treat me excellently.
