Hello,

My name is Laura and i recently graduated from the UC Davis Veterinary
program. I came to Noisebridge around the Maker Faire weekend and was
overjoyed that such a place like this exists. Besides working with animals,
one of my other favorite things to do is work with soldering irons. I just
got my first Arduino last week!

One of the things I would like to do is hold a "pet hacking" night at your
place. I think that it would be fun because we could do all sorts of fun
things.

Some of my ideas include how to hook up LEDs to your dog or cat's collar
(including flea collars), how to make your computer workstation more "pet
friendly", and how to remove hair from your animals to ease home or office
cleaning using waxing and depilatories. In addition, I can also teach you
guys how to feed human food and medicine to animals to cut on costs.

Let me know what you guys think because I think it would be a fun night for
all.

Laura
