[Noisebridge-discuss] somebody is pretending to be me

Hi to all!
Someone is trying to use my identity pretending to be me, at least here on the discuss list. The only account which I use for Noisebridge discuss and quite all other hacker&food hacking activities is algoldor at yahoo.com and it is going to stay like that at least for a while.

So it looks like that someone created frantisekapfelbeck at gmail.com  account and now is posting as me here on the discuss. I think that "the same name possibility" of the owner of the account is close to the zero, and if so it would be likely that the person would notice that there can be confusion not mentioning the low probability of food hacker involved with Noisebridge of the same name.

Now I would like to ask what should I do now? I do not like other people pretending to be me and I want to stop it, they should use their name/identity to do what ever they are after whatever their reasons/motivations are

How can I stop them/what shall I do now?

Shall I contact Google and talk to them explaining the situation? Does someone has some contacts there to help me with that? Can they close the frantisekapfelbeck account based on the unproper type of activities which it is used for?

How to stop this person to missuse my identity at Noisebridge discuss list? Can someone help me with that? My discuss email is algoldor at yahoo.com  and that is it, no other ecount, no changes it was not hacked so far as I know (quite suprise there I have to say :-))

How to identify person behing this and expose him/her to the public so people are aware who is doing this? Asking that person to come out by him/herself is probably not going to work, I do understand that there maybe more profoung reasons for this behaviour which can be kind of "out of the control of the given person" so I do not want to be too harsh but still I want this to stop. If I see that it is more complicated I would not expose the identity of that person.

For the future issues of this type. Is there some kind of clear identification of the person's identity? Especially based on open source models, community etc? I can think about our common history online and in the group and of course kind of security questions arrising from my past activities within the group with some people in person which are just one to one experiences and combining these. Some other options?

Well that would be all for now, if you can help me with this as community I would appreciate it I am in a really interesting environment now and I would like to concentrate on my work here, it has great potential! I am switching from daily digest to sort this issue out more quickly.

Sincerely from Hackerspace Seoul,

Frantisek Algoldor Apfelbeck

PS I have enabled 2-step verification for my Frantisek Algoldor Apfelbeck account (algoldor at gmail.com) and changed the password just to be sure.
