Hey all-

Sorry for the spam but I thought a few people might be interested
in this.

Hao and I have just finished and published the Kickstarter we've
been working on together at Noisebridge over the past few months:

It is based on the hack Miloh and I did two years ago:

As with the original project we are releasing complete source code,
hardware schematics, 3D models, and so on for free once we achieve
funding. The concept of a mind-controlled helicopter is fun and helps
gather attention to Brain-Computer Interface technology, but we're
really trying to look beyond that. We want to leverage any hype to
promote completely open designs for educational and even scientific
pursuits.

If anyone wants to hear more I'm always keen to swing by and give a
demo (next FMOF perhaps?) but otherwise will be hitting up all of the
usual tech and DIY meetups around town trying to promote the
Kickstarter. Hao returned to China on Monday and is collaborating from
there.

Meanwhile if you know of anyone else who might be interested by all
means please forward the link!

And finally, a big thanks to Miloh both for the original work and
access to a Type A Machine for prototyping, and to Mitch for general
advice regards IR hacking.

Cheers

Steve
