Al Lasher's in Berkeley is an actual electronics retail store, with a
wide (for brick&mortar) selection of parts of all kinds. It's pretty
old-school, totally worth a visit. http://allashers.com/?page_id=18
And Jameco lets you order online and then pick up your order in person I
think sometimes the same day. You can't browse IRL though.
