[Noisebridge-discuss] Little known features: gmail's mute button

Another under-utilized email feature is filtering to folders. When I am on
a high-traffic list, especially a discussion list, I filter it to its own
folder, or a shared topical folder, and then am able to dip into its waters
at my own pleasure.

Then, if I post to the list and individuals from the list decide to reward
me with harassing, pointless, or banal messages, I can add those
individuals to the filter and they, effectively, are unable to contact me
directly... instead, they are shunted through an email space I experience
as 'public'.
