I'm forwarding this to the Noisebridge Discussion list.
If you are a female person who is interested in 3D printers and/or 3D design, then please see below and see if you are interested in possibly being on a TV show. If so, please contact Signe and Maureen, who are cc-ed on this email.

Know of anyone at Noisebridge who would be interested? They can just be "talented hobbyists," according to Maureen.

Subject: 3D functional designers for Science Channel
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out to you as you are one of the few women I have come across writing about 3D printing technology. I am a casting producer for Science Channel. We are currently casting for a new wilderness competition show. The show involves sending out teams of 3D design engineers with wilderness experts to design shelters, water filtration systems, food storage - think of it as a modern-day, Swiss Family Robinson with a 3D printer! I am running into a major challenge. I have gotten together a great line up of really talented 3D functional designers. The problem is I have yet to audition a single lady 3D design engineer! Do you happen to be connected to any female, 3D design engineers? I am really keen on including a woman 3D designer in the show.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
