All that you need to help this part of the project is, a portable FM
radio that shows the frequency, some paper, and a pen or pencil.

One of the things that is needed is a list of "open" frequencies that
won't conflict in our proposed footprint. Our footprint will roughly be,
East of 7th Ave., North of the county border, and West and South of the
Bay. I guess that the Sunset is out of luck, but, we do get the Inner
Richmond. Oh, and, I wouldn't expect Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach, or
the Marina District. Even commercial stations have a hard time there. It
is also likely that hills will knock the signal out so places like some
of the Haight and Bayview, etc. could have problems

Here is how it works. I have a list of potential frequencies. If you can
help all that is needed is for you to go outside and listen to those
frequencies. If you hear another station or any interference make a note
of it and send back a list indicating, where you were, what kind of
interference (a station or something else) and what time of day (or
night) it was.

If you can help please send me a message at DCFcharacters on gmail. That
will cut down on the amount of minutia cluttering up the Discuss list. I
would like to get this done by Sept. 20.

Tia.
