i think bringing new economic forms and structures to the USA, which 
erase traditional old American worker-owner relationships-- like coops, 
worker-ownership, bartering, professionalism, volunteerism, and 
socialism-- are more "hackery" than the 200-year-old labor-union paradigm.

Not saying organizing is not relevant and valuable-- just that it's not 
"hacking on the future of labor" as much as developing alternative 
economic structures which redefine labor, ownership, etc.

Organizing seems (to me) more like entrenchment, than innovation. 
Critical to protect workers, just not hackery.
