[Noisebridge-discuss] Gateway laptop(s) left on table in main area

On a similar topic, can someone tell me what are causes behind the following display symptoms ?

1) Pinkish tinting - appears most strongly, usually goes away once thoroughly warmed up, although more persistent on lower part of screen (ie gradient )

2) yellowish like white point moving to lower temperature, raising white point towards blue not much help just makes color look too blueish / dingy 

Some things like inverters or and backlights ? Power supply going weak?
