I believe so, in general. Our robots.txt says not to index the board,
apparently.

AFAIK we've never deleted a file from the Noisebridge web servers. When
we have been asked to we've decided not to delete files. The one case
where a member had personal information published by another member by
accident, and the resulting google search results was actually causing
real harm, IIRC we censored a few words and used google's hostmaster
tools to trigger a quick re-index. (We originally tried to resolve the
issue by using a robots.txt telling Googlebot not to index the relevant
URL, but that turned out not to work reliably.)

I don't think the offended member was fully satisfied with the results,
but it seemed to have resolved the specific SEO issue.
