Hello Fellow Noisebridgians,

I am a senior physics teacher at Burton High School in the local public
school district here in San Francisco and I would love to bring my students
to experience Noisebridge before the end of the school year. As
an occasional user at Noisebridge, I find it to be a great resource for
projects I'm working on, to learn new skills, and to learn about projects
that others are working on. It is also fascinating to know that a place
with so many resources exists. I believe young adults should be exposed to
Noisebridge and that my 17 year old students can gain a lot by visiting
this space.

We are thinking of coming by on Wednesday, April 3rd from 9-noon. Would
anyone be interested in introducing the space and its values? We're going
to be building solar homes and learning about thermodynamics in class
during this time, but I'm open to anyone talking about one of their
projects at Noisebridge or teaching the students something interesting. If
I have a lot of volunteers willing to teach, I can even have students sign
up for what lesson they'd like to learn (laser cutting, sewing, circuit
bending etc). I'm open to other suggestions as well.

I'm not sure how many students are coming, but there will be anywhere from
30-50 students.

I'll attend one of the meetings in the near future and bring this up again
so everyone is aware of the plan before we arrive.

Sincerely,

Amber Zertuche
