It's time for another monthly meet-up for those involved in
anti-censorship, anti-surveillance, transparency and other hacktivism
tools: Technoactivism Third Mondays returns to Noisebridge, President's
Day, 2013-02-18, from 6PM - 7.30PM.

This week, we'll have a Q&A with roving Al Jazeera correspondent,
Melissa Chan. Chan has the unique honor of being both targetted for
spear-phishing malware when working in Beijing, and being used as the
fake source of malware against Bahraini activists when working in the
Middle-East. She's currently a Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford,
where she is working on developing an online toolkit for journalists to
protect their computers against hackers and safeguard communications
with sources.

Chat with Chan about the realities of digital surveillance around the
world, announce your current project or idea, meet with other hackers
and activists, working on protective tools, or just have some appetizers
before finding a good place to eat dinner with your old and new friends.

Reply to this mail to RSVP, offers of lightning talks, or to arrange
consignment deliveries of vegan cupcakes.
